About Me
As a LPCA and LCMHCA, I have a year and a half experience of counseling adolescents and adults experiencing suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, ADHD, gender identity, spiritual and familial issues. I have worked with individuals with various gender identities, racial and ethnicities, and mental health problems. I am an LGBTQIA ally and believe in creating an affirming and safe environment for all clients regardless of their presenting problem(s). I integrate mindfulness and gratitude into my sessions with the belief that this will help with clients' healing.
I take an eclectic approach in meeting clients where they are and will shape my treatment plan to meet their needs. I resonate the most with Person-Centered Theory, with experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Inner Child Work, Existential Therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy, as well as mindfulness-based interventions.
